Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is the first player in the Premier League to complete 1,000 passes in the opposition half this season.
Statistics from EA Sports show that Pogba, who is currently on 1,029 passes with a completion rate of 83.05 percent, is ahead of Liverpool's Jordan Henderson (987), Arsenal's Mesut Ozil (954), Manchester City's David Silva (930) and Eden Hazard (875) of Chelsea, while Ander Herrera (871), in sixth place, is Pogba's nearest competitor at Old Trafford.
The France international moved to United from Juventus in a world-record £89.3 million transfer in the summer and has impressed in his debut season, scoring four goals and setting up three more in 24 Premier League appearances as well as helping Jose Mourinho's side win the EFL Cup.
Pogba completed his 1,000th pass in the 2-0 win against Watford in February, with the statistics giving a clear indication of his influence on United's game.
His understanding with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in particular, has helped United with Pogba setting up five goals for the striker in all competitions this season.
