Kanye West returned to Soundcloud after an eight-month absence on Monday night (Feb. 27) with a new, 17-minute version of The-Dream track "Bed." The revamp opens with an ominous repeated bass note and is highlighted by Dream's feathery singing on the demo of a song that would later be released by J. Holiday, though it doesn't seem to feature any new vocals from 'Ye.
The atmospheric, meandering revamp, titled "BED YEEZY SEASON 5 (FT. THE DREAM)" was created by West and his The Life of Pablo collaborator DJDS and it premiered during the Feb. 15 Yeezy Season 5 fashion show. Dream co-wrote the original version for Chris Brown a decade ago and it emerged in 2010 on the unofficial mixtape LoveTape: The Demo's.
