Manchester City continued their high-scoring start to the Premier League season with a 7-2 against Stoke.

City have now scored 29 goals in eight games this season and sit two points clear of nearest rivals Manchester United, who could only manage a 0-0 draw with Liverpool.

Suspended Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno south, said this is the first time in six months that he will not receive salary or allowance, since he graduated from university.

On March 29, Ndume was handed a six-month suspension for “deliberately bringing up an issue that painted the red chamber in bad light”.

Over 20,000 Teachers Failed Primary Four Test in Kaduna

A total 21,780 teachers in Kaduna state have reportedly failed the primary four examination administered to test their competence.
Nasir el-Rufai, governor of the state, said the teachers were required to pass at least 75% of the test but that two-third of the total number of the teachers failed.

He said a new set of 25,000 primary school teachers would be employed ” as parts of the efforts to restore dignity and quality to its education sector”.
