Ajax will face Manchester United in the final of the Europa League after narrowly overcoming Lyon with a 5-4 aggregate victory.

Kasper Dolberg's exquisite goal proved vital as 10-man Ajax clung on seal their place in the Europa League final despite a 3-1 defeat to Lyon, who saw their dramatic attempt at comeback fall short.

Ajax, winners of the UEFA Cup in 1992, held a 4-1 lead from the first leg in Amsterdam, and Dolberg's sixth Europa League goal of the campaign - a subtle dink over Anthony Lopes - furthered their advantage 27 minutes into a thrilling contest. However, naive defending from Peter Bosz's young side allowed Lyon back into the tie - Alexandre Lacazette netting twice in the space of 76 seconds on the stroke of half time. Ajax substitute Donny van de Beek went agonisingly close to putting the tie to bed in the second half when he rattled the woodwork, before Rachid Ghezzal moved

Pope to canonize 2 Fatima children a century after visions.

Three shepherd children in Portugal were jailed and threatened with being boiled alive in olive oil when they claimed the Virgin Mary appeared to them 100 years ago. One had letters on her jacket. As David Timothy Deakin googled "What is NBI?" from the laptop on his bed, the Philippines National Bureau of Investigation smashed their way into his cybersex den. Children's underwear, toddler shoes, cameras, bondage cuffs, fetish ropes, meth pipes and stacks of hard drives and photo albums cluttered the stuffy, two-bedroom townhouse. Penciled on the wall, someone had scrawled "My Mom and Dad love me" and a broken heart. In his computer were videos and images of young boys and girls engaged in sex acts. "Why is everyone asking about children coming into my house?" said Deakin, 53, his wrists bound with a zip tie.

Mourinho: I Don't Enjoy Arsenal not Winning Big Trophies.

photo of Jose Mourinho

The Portuguese had already taken aim at the Frenchman in his TV interview and further questioned his adversary in an explosive press conference.

Jose Mourinho has taken aim at Arsene Wenger in his post-match press conference following Manchester United's defeat to Arsenal. The loss was Wenger's first victory over the Portuguese in the Premier League at the 13th time of asking, with Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck helping to secure a 2-0 win. Mourinho aimed a subtle dig at Wenger in his post-match television interview, insisting that Gunners fans could finally go home with a smile on their face after so many years of pain when facing him. And the United manager went one further in his post-match press conference, insisting that, in what appeared a clear dig at Wenger, he does not enjoy seeing the north Londoners fail to win big trophies.
